What do I think of Google Books?
I am a little annoyed that you encouraged me to go there! We are really trying to save money at the moment and my husband has asked me to stop visiting book shops! Of course, I love it!
What did you think of Google Maps?
I personally prefer using Whereis.com and my husband (we often differ) prefers Google Maps.
If I need to go somewhere I will use Google maps to have a look at the house or shop that I need to find. I am hopeless with directions and the photographs help me to recognise the correct address.
I also find that Google maps is useful when looking at real estate property. I can see the properties on realestate.com.au and then look around the streets to findout more about the surrounding houses, parks etc.

What do I think about Google Docs?
I love Google Docs. I have used it in a previous teaching position and found that it was a great way to read and review documents.
Tonight, I created a document for a friend and I to use. Our children are sharing a birthday party and we need to keep track of the RSVP's. I have created a RSVP list using Google Docs.

What did I learn about Web 2.0?
I thought I was fairly computer literate but now I am seriously reconsidering my standing. The article by O’Reilly made me reminisce about the ‘good old days’ when the internet was first introduced to schools and Yahoo was the major search engine that we used. Essentially, I realised that of the many Web 2.0 applications, I only use a few like Gmail, Moodle and online banking.

1. What is my favourite food? I generally love all different kinds of foods.
2. What is my least favourite food? Brussels sprouts
3. What type of music do you listen to? I have never been 'ínto'' music.
4. What is your favourite movie of all time? The Colour Purple
5. Where is your dream vacation? I would love to take my children to India, perhaps when they are teenagers.
6. What is your favourite television show? I am currently watching Mad Men, mostly for the fashion.
7. What is your favourite season during the year and why? I absolutely love Autumn/ Winter. I love the rain and I love being cold more so than hot.
8. Name someone you respect or admire and explain why? I really respect my niece, she is really mature and determined.
9. If you were an animal what would it be? I don't really like cats, probably because they remind me of myself. I enjoy lazing about and can easily be provoked.
10. What do you do for a hobby? My interests come and go in cycles. At the moment I am really enjoying cake decorating and sewing.
